From 1944 to beginning of 2006 in a district there was one public archived institution the archived department of Rokitnyanskoy of rayderzhadministracii. Documents from a personnel and basic activity of the liquidated enterprises  were accepted to  the archived department of Rokitnyanskoy of rayderzhadministracii.

Оn May, 3 1, 2007 in accordance with the order of President of Ukraine from 02.09.2000 ¹ 273/2000-rp, articles of a 29 Law of Ukraine „About the National archived fund and archived establishments”, a district soviet the decisions created a district labour archive which the task of acceptance and maintainance was fixed on, in accordance with the terms of certain Derzhkomarkhivom, documents from a personnel (shelf-life 75 years) and temporal storage (from 3th to 45-ti years),liquidated or operating enterprises, establishments and organizations, regardless of patterns of ownership and submissions which are registered and operated on territory of Rokitnyanskogo of district.

A district labour archive is communal establishment, which is an independent legal entity, operates on the basis of the Statute, has independent balance, clearing account.

Financing of charges on maintenance of the Labour archive is carried out due to the money of local budget and money, got for the scientific and technical working and storage of the archived documents.

The basic task of the Labour archive is:
- it is an exposure and bringing in the sources of completing documents, on a concordance with the archived department of rayderzhadministracii, settlement and village soviets, enterprises, establishments and organizations, regardless of patterns of ownership, which are located on the proper territory, the documents of the National archived fund are not created in activity of which;

- taking is over enterprises, establishments and organizations - sources of completing of the archived documents, from a personnel, financially economic activity and other documents, shelf-lives which did not make off;
- it is the scientific and technical working of documents which acted on storage, in obedience to the rules of Derzhkomarkhivu, creation of necessary certificate vehicle to them;

- account of documents which are kept, including by creation and maintenance of registration databases;
- it is organization of using documents in official, sociallegal, scientific and other aims, edition legal entities and citizens in set Ukrderzharkhivom of order of the archived certificates, copies and self-controls, from documents which are on storage;

- leadthrough of espertizi value of documents which are on storage, presentation on claim of espertniy commission of the archived department of district state administration, descriptions of temporal storage, documents, from the personnel of enterprises, establishments of organizations, – sources of completing and acts about an exception for elimination of documents, shelf-lives which made off;

- it is participating in events on in-plant training of workers of services of office work, archived subdivisions and еспертних commissions of enterprises, establishments and organizations - sources of completing.

W 2008 roku Communal Set "Rokitnyansky District Archive of labor" pіdporyadkovana Rokitnyanskіy rayonnіy radі.

From 2008 communal establishment of "Rokitnyanskiy the district Labour archive" Rokitnyanskiy  is inferior to the district soviet.
